I've always thought that taking up 3 fingers for movement,especially when that movement is only 8way, is horrible. Keyboard is an awful system that needs to be overcome. Some games (I know Halo) will let you use a controller and mouse at the same time. The left half of a Dualshock gives you thumb for movement (and L3), index for the triggers, ring to support the controller itself (or set it on the desk) and then the dpad for miscellaneous stuff. Add a mouse that has a shitton of buttons, like the G300, and you'll be pretty capable in most games.

No so much a disability, but my right eye is blind to the point where I can't make out any numbers or words (even if it's up against my face).

My brain developed to compensate for this in my left eye, but there's always the off-chance that something could happen in life and my right eye wouldn't work anymore (either by loosing it, or something else) and I would wind up being completely blind as fuck.

I don't know the medical terms because it's something I've had since I was a child but basically when I was young I could barely see at all and while I got most of my vision back I still can't use both my eyes simultaneously - I'll have peripheral vision on one eye and only use the other eye for focusing on what I'm currently doing. Since I change the eye I use a lot it's pretty much automatic but I can also change which eye I use consciously. It doesn't really change much - 3D effects on TV/movies won't work for me, and if I don't use one of my eyes for a while it will have blurry as fuck vision. Oh and I had to wear an eyepatch until I was like 5, to practice using my bad eye. The eyepatch was kind of like a bandaid you'd throw out after use, I had x hours per day with it on, and it was skin colored.

One time I slammed my finger in a car door and needed stitches, on the way to the emergency room I was rubbing my patched eye because it was scratchy as fuck to have that thing on, emergency room people thought I'd poked my eye out because I had blood all over it from rubbing it so I didn't have to wait for them to stitch my finger up - everyone just panicked to help me pretty much.

Well that's the point i was trying to make. Red and blue plastic glasses are apparently, that bullshit cheap stuff that barely works.

The glasses that came with the monitor weren't any of that red and blue stuff. Think of regular sunglasses, it was basically that. No color tinting or anything.

The hearing thing doesn't do shit as far as vidya is concerned, it can just be a pain in the ass in real life because I have a hard time hearing people when they're talking to me, so it can be difficult to follow conversations sometimes.

The vision thing, since it can't be completely fixed with glasses, is crazy fucking annoying. Even with glasses I can't play handhelds or games with particularly small text, and I have to sit really close to the TV or monitor. I have psoriasis as well. I've never really let it get to me, I really don't even bother with lotion or anything because I don't really care about the appearance of my skin. When I was a child I had it pretty bad on my face so I had to use lotion there a lot, but it's mostly gone to just my arms and legs. I got nerve damage from a car accident when I was a teenager. I was with my mother and a truck crashed into us as a green light said to go at an intersection.

Our car got KO'd, squashed, etc, my mother in the driver seat got out with a few cuts and bruises but the front of the car pushed itself right up to our seats that a metal rod, bar or whatever practically flattened my knees. It was a pretty horrible pain to bear for a few hours, but by the time I got out of it and was rushed to hospital they said there was some major nerve damage done and they couldn't fix it.

I'm basically paralyzed from the knees down, so I can't walk. Thankfully I have the muscles in my thighs to move around my leg but below that I can't move shit.

Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Hits my whole body, but mostly my wrists, and fingers. Typing and playing games is actually quite tiring and painful. Can't play games or use the internet for very long. My passion is also drawing, but I can't keep up a decent schedule of comics because it hurts my hands too much.

It also makes sex really difficulty for me as everything puts massive strain on my joints. I can do positions for maybe 1-2 minutes but then I have to lay on my back due to pain.
