She's kind of like /co/lette. A new fetish fuel waifu that caused the drawthread rules to change and weeks of such shitposting that a mod lost his mind and now Anons are flocking to /qa/ to complain about /co/ mods
>>82457830 I fucking knew she would be posted ITT. I might as well summarize her "lore"
>abandoned by her father and orphaned >/co/nrad finds her on the streets and takes her in or she follows him like a curse >she probably has schizophrenia, likes the occult and burning down shit >she summons other "abandoned spirits" (AKA flavors of the month) and communicates with them
All derived from a whirlwind history of destroyed threads and shitposts. But to be honest I like her.
>>82457969 but why does she exist? shouldn't we have stopped with the alternate tans after 4?

>>82457926 It would have stopped long ago but a stunning combo of complainers and an insane janitor prolonged the drama. I would like to think that we've all moved on and we can make her a fun character again but I see from today's drawthread that people are still salty.
>>82457830 so she is just fetish material for its own sake? does she represent something? is she a character within the world of /co/? does she have a story?
Very hard to answer. Unlike other tans she wasn't made with this purpose in mind. She was a simple donation to a spooky girl thread. The intense shitstorm that followed cemented her popularity and infamy. It was a perfect storm that probably can't be recreated.
If it's necessary to define her role I think that she fits in as a nu /co/lette - /co/lette was originally a combination of all our fetishes but our tastes have grown since then. She has some of these traits but also summons FoTMs which includes any sick new fetishes we'll have in the future and shows the fleeting nature of the waifu. She also may be able to transform into other kinds of fapbait herself, she has a Bara R63 version and a clown version

>>82457830 oh my my, tell me the story anon, how did all start ?
>>82458031 Not much story or interaction was decided on. She was taken in by /co/nrad. She doesn't know who her parents are and her summoning cast away spirits is likely a way to cope with this or possibly even a method to search for them.
/co/nrad is tsundere for her and mocks her design but she knows he likes her and teases him about it.

>>82458180 well i personally like when serendipity twistes your hand with writing, it forces you to be creative and come up with stories you wouldnt have come up on your own
what does cooking have to do with comics and cartoons, at first nothing but if youre clever you find a lot of intersting conections like /co/ asking /ck/ to make the monster crabby patty for him and she getting an aneurism for it
>>82458223 >this drawing is donated to a spooky girl thread in late March >she receives instant fanart and attention >someone goes to the drawthread, sees the "no OC" rule, and asks if this applies to OCs that have been donated to /co/ >some people tell him to fuck off and others defend him >this snowballs into multiple threads of spam requests and arguing over the rules >one Anon has the bright idea to stealth change the rules as an April Fool's joke >so much arguing that it's eventually decided to allow OCs for good with some restrictions >at this point it was too late, the shitposter a were already here to stay >almost one. whole. week. of completely unrelated flooding that killed every thread within 6-12 hours >a janitor arrives and hits the panic button >the shitposters are cleared away >but he WONT STOP PRESSING THE BUTTON >multiple drawfags are banned. anyone posting an image.jpg filename or saying the word "phone" gets banned. unrelated requests get banned. mentioning this bullshit gets banned. >another solid week of cowering in fear of the janitor now known as Juan and even more arguing over what Addy has wrought
that's the gist of it

>>82458593 People wrote fics that justified it. I've been here since 2003. I'm telling you, it was /co//ck/. That's it. That's all. People filled in the gaps.
Not that the gaps that they filled in weren't nice.
Also, I thought there was something involving chef characters, so they both fell in love. It's like if you married someone because their name makes a funny combination with yours.

I understand a yearning for meaning in this, but it was literally developed as a relationship because of /co/ck/.
The beauty is that, afterwards, we did get some good writing and drawings to rationalize and justify it. /co/ck/ was the seed.
