It's better than any cartoon on the air right now outside of maybe Adventure Time.

>>66500042 So she's now a magician and doesn't look like her original self, and is APPARENTLY evil? I prefer Breezy as the sexy blue-haired cutie in a red dress but oh well.
Didn't read this comic or any other Sonic comic, tbh so I can't judge her before knowing what's her current deal.

This feels like such a fan comic these days. And not in a good way.
Couldn't they just draw her as she appeared in the show? I mean, not every character has to look like they popped out of a Newgrounds 'Create Your Own Sonic Character' flash game, do they?
If Johnny Test had Long John Baldry, it would be worth watching.

>>66503164 All those bullshit design rules were invented as a way to say "Sally Acorn doesn't fit in with the SEGA cast, remove her"
If anyone else breaks the ascetic rules the "fans" don't care, yet Archie has taken those dumb complaints to heart and made everyone follow them.

>>66503073 Say what you will about Sonic Boom and the desgins, at least the art style itself has more range and diversity than that godawful Uekawa art style that just won't go away.

>>66503177 Hedgehog characters have to follow this. If anything I think its a good idea they did away with the original hair, but they could get more creative with the new spines.
Short of a couple of covers of Mega Man 45, and Breezie and Honey concepts (picture related) they did not show or announce anything we didn't already know since Worlds Collide 2: Electric Boogaloo was announced the day prior.
Man. I remember when this show first came out, I actually thought the bizarre nature of the art was a turn-off since I was more familiar with the always on-model style from the games and comic books. But looking at it now as an adult, I actually prefer it. It's ugly, but it's charming in a way.

>>66506158 I've got one with a mouth and base, it's always interesting to see first hand how they would have animated characters.
